SOL expansion

We need to expand the stadium...if we have any ambitions to be a club competing in the top half of the premier league and eventually europe then our ground needs to be bigger with more corporate/hospitality. Those saying we wouldn't fill it were probably saying the same when we moved from Roker Park and when the north stand was extended. The potential at SAFC is huge....build it and they will come :)
bournemouth, brentford, brighton all consolidating in the PL with smaller grounds. One of them even poached one of our best prospects.

all with littler stadiums.

Why does it matter how many empty seats there is?
You won't be on the pitch playing, the potential empty seats wouldn't impact the teams performance.

Things have moved on man, the stadium whilst primarily is used for football, it can't just only be used around 25 times a year.
Because it looks absolutely shit. There's a reason why so many Italian clubs are downsizing their grounds. It's far better walking into our ground when full than compared to when we had 15k empty seats.

And nothing shifts from the fact it is a football stadium for Safc, first of all, that can also be used for other purposes. And the additional income gained from a couple of concerts would likely be minimal. Probably not even covering costs of extending for a few years.

Can’t really see what all the fuss is about. If the East Stand can be extended cheaply, which it can in comparison to other stadia, then just do it. This will vastly improve the concourse, add much needed corporate facilities, improve the site for concerts and provided additional seating so that we don’t have to start pricing fans out of the game.

The last thing we should do is lose the cheap seats for kids. Get them in and get them hooked.

We made about £1m/concert from Elton John/Ed Sheeran

The corporate and concourse areas are terrible. Need a huge upgrade. SoL showing its age and years of under investment. East stand upper tier with corporate and boxes ideally.
Better input than telling everyone to have a fish. Glad you’ve seen the light

We are forgetting if the club set up the resale of ticket scheme this could unlock another few thousand every game, possibly 4-5k for midweek games and early kick offs

I've set a £500 limit on the price that I'd pay, beyond that and it's adiós from me.
Everyone’s own choice but that’s basically 25 quid per game for premier league football. Not sure how they can really be lower than that going forward with the way things are. Also don’t think there is much you could get value for money ( I know it’s a bit more uncontrollable) wise that’s better than 25 quid for a game of premier league football
