Tomorrow's session should be good, Higgins only 2 behind must be feeling like he's got out of jail there.

Just as well for Gilbert that the session ended then as he was all over the place. Fair enough Higgins had gallons of luck towards the end but Gilbert really needs a good start tomorrow afternoon otherwise Higgins will just reel off frame after frame.

The geordie has had a combination of playing badly and having everything go against him so far this morning. Mike Hallett's continual criticism of every wrong/missed shot he takes is becoming ridiculous though; he's got this far by playing attacking snooker so no point abandoning that approach just cos he's lost his way a bit.

He said one of the players had played a shot purposely before rather than using the word deliberately. It is one of my pet hates with commentators and he's been in the game long enough to know better.
