Exactly. What difference does it make. You are buying it for the games not the hardware.

The guy who hacked the NES mini reckons he will have updated software by the weekend. That means being able to put any games you want on there(Storage is about 300MB so could be good for approx 100 games) plus i think they hacked in a button combo to get back to the main screen without having to get up and hit the reset button - perfect for lazy bassas like me!

Debating whether to double me money on eBay. A 2nd hand one just went for 120. Mines not been opened.

Hacking it would be more difficult than emulating on a PC, mate.

I wouldn't find any of it difficult. I was modding and flashing my own consoles 10+ years ago. Had all the emulators on a psp back then iirc.

I just cant be arsed. It's a world of convenience these days.
