Holger's first 1000 semi-final coming up shortly. He can be so bloody frustrating to watch. I hope he isn't acting the childish twat today and the match will be a good one.

He got a break yesterday against Alcatraz, would have been a good test if it had gone the full distance.

It was still a decent test for him. I hate seeing players retire with an injury, it's like winning when your opponent pots the black ball before time, bit annoying to win that way. But he had a good chance of winning anyway so that was good to see. And their hug at the end warmed my heart.

Last year at this time he was 120-something in the rankings. Today's win will see him move up to 12th in the world. Good season for him. And a very nice win today against an in-form player, too.

Looking forward to tomorrow's final. A win there, though not too likely with the two players left in the second semi-final, would see him move into the top ten.

I just wish he would cut off the childish attitude he has when things aren't going his way. He could be a great player for the next years if he manages to cut that part out of his game.

Now for the Lads to get three points later on and today will have been a good sporting day.

That was some run to win the title, 4x top 10 players beat, plus former 3x Slam winner Wawrinka, then some bloke called Djokovic in the final

He's great young Holger isn't he  can't imagine he's ever going to the most popular player on tour with players or with fans. Proper chewy little get. I like him though, very entertaining. His game's pretty fun to watch as well.

Him and Felix have been the two best on the tour for the last few months so good to see them both getting some big wins and a few titles each.

There's been years in the past where Rafa's struggled for whatever reason, injuries more often than not but this year it really does feel like time has finally caught up with him. Feel like whenever someone like Medvedev, Fritz, Alcaraz, Felix, Berrettini and a non injured Zverev play him on hard or grass they really should be beating him these days. Was very surprised bookies priced Fritz up as underdog. Rafa might still win this yet but he's been second best right from the start through the first set and a half.

Do think next year will be his last on tour especially with him just having his first kid a couple months back. One more French Open perhaps, or maybe passes the baton as he loses to Alcaraz in the semi or the final.

Hard to tell if Nadal is totally finished or if he is just saving himself for the slams but he looked poor again in two matches this week, think this could be his last season on tour. Hard to see anyone stopping Djokovic at the Australian Open anyway, 5/4 looks a bit of a gift really.

Djokovic is looking really sharp from what I’ve seen. I’d get in the price quickly if I were you.

Looks like he is carrying some sort of hamstring issue here, hard to tell with Djokovic though as he has played possum so many times with injuries.
