I love Serena still being on the tour, but not cleaning up. She'll still be chasing slam #24 so will stick around a bit longer and her presence guarantees ratings and interest - if this was e.g. Pliskova/Svitolina vs Halep, there wouldn't be half as much interest on here in this match, and Halep's worldwide stock also massively increases. She's by far the most famous athlete in her country, they say the most popular in Romania since Hagi, and this only add to that further.

Superb performance by Halep. 2 Grand Slams and a real chance for the Career Slam as this was supposed to be the least likely slam she would win.
