Never done skiing
But it's f***ing extortionate for a pint
Most overpriced shithole on the planet, just happens to be on a nice lake. Utterly hate Geneva, even a mcdonald's is a tenner or more and forget about eating at a somewhat decent restaurant
Probably one day here one day there, only on 'perfect days' - clear blue skies and freshly fallen snow. Oh, and never on Sundays - too crowded.really, mates have a flat there, they're seem to be skiing all through winter..?
Can't really ski out of chamonix.how about Chamonix...?
As you say, not too far from me.Two sets of cousins plus one uncle have retired/semi-retired a few miles due West of you. Not sure if their various houses (one of them fixes them up for a living) are in Charente or Charente-Maritime.
Oh look at me I go skiing in Switzerland for my winter hols.
Pathetic.

I've just booked to go there next March. The other option was Courmeyer in February. Same price but for 2 nights longer in Morzine.that is why Morzine is a reasonable shout.
