Love that album. Was the first purple one I’d heard. Pity the recent (ish) Coverdale re-recorded title track was so shocking.

Burn is a great album - Hughes still has the voice to do it total justice.

Elton John did backing vocals and played piano on Fairweather Friends by Queens Of The Stone Age. Dave Grohl drummed, with additional backing vocals from Trent Reznor. The song was also co written by Mark Lanegan. That covers a few bases...

Mark Lanegan could have a thread of his own, Twilight Singers, Qotsa, Uncle, Duke Garwood, Bomb the Bass, Moby, the Manics off the top of my head.
