I know it doesn't feel like it at present, but yes at their peak, they were a magnitude more shambolic.
And still managed to beat us.

SAFC will never fulfil its potential again if we continue to sell our best players.Under the Drumaville/Quinn leadership there was a determination to build a club again by retaining the best players unlike the Murray years.I feel we have gone full circle again. We are in danger of becoming a feeder club again to those more successful.established clubs under Shorts stewardship which will eventually lead to relegation struggles which is happening and is a recipe for disaster
And still managed to beat us.
And exactly why can't he leave with all the profit that he has made ?He can't and won't leave and nor would I want him to either, I disagree with things he does but he's running the club.
We needed quality before the summer, didn't get it, sold our 2 better players an still didn't replace them either. That's the real travesty here and the reason behind our struggles. He can't leave though
Blackburn are currently in 9th place in the Championship and I can't recall our players ever featuring in a genuinely toe-curling fast food advert.
We should be thankful for small mercies.
Profit? And exactly why can't he leave with all the profit that he has made ?
Of courseProfit?
Was not aware of that. How much then?Of course
Aye, with a bit of luck there could be another chicken processor in India fancying a punt.

cant believe how naive they were in letting us bring in 14 players whilst asset stripping the quality , he is an intelligent man but has made one major fuck up with the current debacle , we have the only billionaire chairman that is skintWhat do you really want Short to do?
Loads of us were saying all summer that this year of all years was not the time to stop spending money. Massive cash windfall for everyone to strengthen their club, which most have done, and we actually ended up losing our best players. This summer was absolutely crucial for us and it looks like we've fucked it up big time.
Ins and outs are on par so theres no outlay
Sky Money ?????
Concert Monies ?????
Sponsorship deals ?????
and thats just off the top of my head
foolish if anybody feels hat way , th bloke has funded us since he came here , unfortunately a major mistake has occured , if anyone can rectify it he can .....hoping for a turn in fortune with the manager appointment and hopefully get back in touch with the also rans in this leagueLoads of us were saying all summer that this year of all years was not the time to stop spending money. Can't sanction the Short Out brigade, but he has royally fucked up this year and its going to take a proper bloody shift in fortunes to get us out of it. Needs to spend a bucket load of cash in January if its not too late by then.
Well, it beats the hell out of me, too!Did you not realise that the SMB accountants take into consideration the sales of Bent, Henderson, Gyan, Sess and Mig yet ignore that fact that we had to buy 4 of these in the first place, as well as buying, loaning and free signings of so many players over the last 5 years.
Correct. But you are wasting your time, marra. At least three sets of accounts that show a loss of around £75-£80 million between them..operating expenses in the last published set were £26 million more than actual income...
And that's just off the top of my head...
