Short Is Failing Us

If he doesn't appoint a good manager/head coach then I think it's time for him to call it a day and get out.

He's sold Mignolet and Sessegnon and failed to replace them.

We needed more quality and we've brought in bargain basement players.

There is no communication and there appears to be no direction. Commercially we may be doing well but that will count for very little if we are relegated which is looking inevitable.

Very disappointing.

Who is going to come in and invest the funds he has to pretty much save us from the shit?

Yes question some of his decisions or hiring/firing but don't just ignore where we'd be without him

We haven't come on one bit. If we go down this season, we are back where we were when Quinny took over.

What options do he have? Look for a buyer because he won't take the risk to try and buy us out of this mess in January. In fact, it might be too late then anyway and based on past January windows we usually don't bring in players until the end.

If he sells us on the cheap in the Championship someone git rich might see potential and buy into us. Happened with Cardiff/Southampton.

That's the bit that hurts the most.

Al the time, effort and worst of all money and we are back to square one. f***ing joke.

So what do we do if he decides he wants out, where do we go?

I'm as frustrated as anyone with what happened this summer and the squad we have as a result, but unless he can find a rich buyer to take us on he is stuck

I think you've answered your own question. His option is to find a buyer.

he's only failing us from a perspective of making us an awesome football team on the field.

he's doing a pretty good job of keeping us as a company that will continue to be around in the long term. and before people start doom and glooming over relegation, the past relegations since parachute payments began. there's not a lot of them who were 'big clubs' that haven't since been back in the premiership. as long as you don't do a Portmouth and go bankrupt, we'd be back up fairly soon and the way short is trying to run us now, i doubt we'd go bankrupt

We'll always be among the top earners in the Championship by attendances. We'll always be able to attract top level Championship players, this squad proves that.

We might have a season or two in the Championship, but we'll end up in the Premier league again sooner or later.

This summer was absolutely crucial for us and it looks like we've fucked it up big time.

yeah unfortunately Ellis was the main advocate of the Prem league financial fair play crap so he felt it was necessary to go down this road.....bad timing and we are now paying for it.

Like Leeds, Sheff Wed, Sheff Utd, Forest, Derby and Leicester? Nothing is certain.

The core of the squad have went through 3 managers now. Blatantly can't perform for an extended period of time it's not good enough.
