It’s bloody depressing.
Like being on the firing squad and asking what will it be. A bow and arrow or crossbow.

Behind the scenes ours just continues. Appointed 2 new directors to prevent the sale of the club. Don’t have the answers anymore but if our paths cross next season we can drown our sorrows together. Equally can dream that by next year everything is great once again.
Sadly I’ve given up all hope now.

I think there could be an element to that, however most folk close to him or have had dealings with him say he does have an affection for the club but is just completely out of his depth and refuses to take any advice, I think this is more the truth than the fact he actually hates the fans.

I personally believe he has debts more than what the club is actually worth hence why he will not sell. At present he actually has an asset, if he sells he has no asset and will still owe millions.

Absolutely. None of us will really know how close we probably were to being another Bolton/Sheff Wed/Derby/Pompey etc.

If they get served a winding-up order, and enter administration, then some buyer sees the opportunity and buys them at a cut-down price, then they will still be Sheffield Wednesday.

If the administration fails, no buyer is found, the club goes out of existence and a new phoenix club formed, that club could not be able to have the same name. Sheffield Thursday maybe?

Keep the same name. But the limited company behind it would be Sheffield Wednesday (2026) Ltd or similar, rather than Sheffield Wednesday Ltd.
