Seriously, is Tufty unstable?

Part of the trip to Spain is to look at the internal issues but they aren't worried and can still turn it around according to this

The latest on trip to Spain and what next for Steve McClaren

There was a clear the air meeting late on Friday night in the team hotel in Kensington. Looks like it didn't do any good, but there's definitely trouble in the camp.
Is this right? That's huge if that's the performance they put in after a 'clear the air' meeting.

I think he'll be gone after Bournemouth unfortunately. I'd almost take them getting a couple of draws with Stoke and Bournemouth to keep him in a job for a bit longer.

I am extremely worried because he's a gnats pube away from the sack. We can only hope they give wheetabix heed the chance to take them down again :D

"It’s one of those games you are going to get one or two of a season."

Yes Steve, just one or two

5-1
3-0
5-1 0-3
3-0
6-1
I read a stat yesterday and I'm not sure how true it is. It said they've lost by three goals or more, twenty eight times in the last three years/seasons. Sounds a bit excessive but we've done it three times ourselves.

I think they've failed to score 10 times which contradicts what people keep saying about how attacking they are.

Tufty blusters, grins, praises the players to the heavens and spills out the endless clichés.

Allardyce just shrugs and says, "This is shit."

I'd also want him as my union rep. He'd be just as comfortable representing 10,000 workers preparing for strike action. Anyone know what his badges were on his jacket?

It's amazing that people are still saying they'll simply get out of it. I posted their away record yesterday going back a long way. It's absolutely abysmal and littered with "nils" in the goals scored column. Long may it continue I say.

At this stage, when they were relegated last time, they had iirc more points, more goals, less conceded and better players.

People saying 'they'll be fine' must be the same ones that were saying that right up 'til full time at Villa Park.

The good things are that their captain & manager, this time, are shocking in their respective roles.

When Tufty was under pressure with Derby & England he stopped talking to his staff ...... he barely said a word to them on Saturday.

I've no idea what goes through his head but it could be a .45 if he gets any more psychotic

Just as long as giving him his P45 does not go through Mikes head.

I like McLaren from his Boro days - brought us our first (and yes only) major trophy, BUT one thing about him , i always found that no matter what drubbing we suffered , or no matter how boring some of his formations/tactics were he would NEVER admit that he'd 'got it wrong'.
