Seriously, is Tufty unstable?

Wen Tufty was England manager he had Cole, Terry, Ferdinand, Neville, Gerrard, Lampard and Rooney at the top of their game and he couldnt get them to the Euros never mind a World Cup.

With Tayls (Mr Newcastle) Coco and Passback he is struggling like.

Indicative of the claptrap they come out with. If you listen to them without looking at the table you'd think they were top 8. Still too good to go doon like ye knaa, like, ye knaa, like, ye knaa repeat until fade...

If we manage to be above them in the table come March 20th, and we then win there, I think he would have to resign for his own safety.
But I put nothing past Ashley, he has little time for them after the way they treated him after doing everything they asked.

He's an incredibly average coach that got a few lucky breaks in management and despite failing almost everywhere bar Middlesbrough he still has a job in the top flight.

He's a Steve Clarke, Terry Connor, Rene Muelensteen... he's probably a very good number two/yes man. I bracket him with Roy Hodgson - can you imagine either of them trying to motivate you?

If you haven't got respect for a man, you'll never truly accept him or listen to him.

McClaren has never been a good manager, but what he's done almost everywhere he's been is make his teams hard to beat. The Boro were f***ing awful to watch but difficult to break down. He's another manager who's pandering to the Geordie nations birth right to have keegan style football. Hes abandoned his principles to be accepted. He's weak as piss.
That f***ing avatar man! :lol::lol:

And what's this shite he keeps spouting about 'having to picks up points away as well' ...... not exactly rampant at home are they

It's despicable the way u loy are treating the former leader of our national team. Nobody else in their right mind would boo or want a former England manager sacked!not even them up the road!

There are increasing signs that the man is displaying worrying signs of some kind of real problem.

We've all seen the 'carer's day out' clips etc, the incessant post match grinning and the deluded claims that they've been better in every game as well as 'improving as the season progresses' but there was a small incident after the 1st Chelsea goal that everyone saw ........ he just got up and strolled off down the tunnel

This was a vital game for Newcastle, live on TV and with a big Newcastle following ..... what does that say to his players?

It just looked insane and I really can't think of a reason for such bizarre behaviour. It was significant that he was also sitting alone for most of the game and his staff barely looked at him, let alone spoke. I really believe the man is grinning through a major crisis and struggling with his inner demons.

And why does he always cling onto his players on the touchline like some random lunatic

You raise a good point. Supposedly he went to immediately watch a replay of the first goal. The only reason for that would be to reorganize things slightly as a result of watching what went wrong.

The hilarious fact is though, that they went on to concede 2 more in quick succession. So whatever he did as a result made things worse.

He, almost certainly, walked into the tunnel to see the replay of the goal on the TV monitor.
