ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK

I read somewhere there were a few season tickets went on sale and there were 30,000 in the queue.
Without trying to drift this into a mag thread, aye there were 30,000 in the queue. Though how many of those were unique and genuine fans wanting season tickets as it will certainly be less than that? Given the very limited season tickets available, like we've done when wanting tickets, some will have had multiple devices open on the website, even getting relatives/friends/workmates to also do it for them. There will have been a few 'touts' also in the hope the can snatch one and sell on for a premium and of course there will have been those just wanting to have a look and see what was available even though they've already got a season ticket.Mag I know reckons they have 40,000 on the waiting list.![]()
There's also the fact that there hasn't been 52,000 ticket season tickets sold as this mag reckons 29,000 (yet in 2016 they sold 33,000) so it will be somewhere in the low 30's season tickets at most.
There's no denying they've got a huge fan base (as have we given the shite we've had compared to the Mags since the 90's) but some of the comments about this 33,000 extra fans looking for season tickets, along with even talking of having a 80,000 stadium is a bit deluded. Bear in mind they were giving them away a few seasons ago. This new demand in case all goes well and they can relive the 90's and maybe even win summit. If it doesn't go well then demand will drop off again so SJP is ideal for the owners as they'll just increase the ticket prices instead of developing/relocating in the coming seasons.
