Season Ticket Tracker

I read somewhere there were a few season tickets went on sale and there were 30,000 in the queue.
Mag I know reckons they have 40,000 on the waiting list. 😂😂
Without trying to drift this into a mag thread, aye there were 30,000 in the queue. Though how many of those were unique and genuine fans wanting season tickets as it will certainly be less than that? Given the very limited season tickets available, like we've done when wanting tickets, some will have had multiple devices open on the website, even getting relatives/friends/workmates to also do it for them. There will have been a few 'touts' also in the hope the can snatch one and sell on for a premium and of course there will have been those just wanting to have a look and see what was available even though they've already got a season ticket.

There's also the fact that there hasn't been 52,000 ticket season tickets sold as this mag reckons 29,000 (yet in 2016 they sold 33,000) so it will be somewhere in the low 30's season tickets at most.

There's no denying they've got a huge fan base (as have we given the shite we've had compared to the Mags since the 90's) but some of the comments about this 33,000 extra fans looking for season tickets, along with even talking of having a 80,000 stadium is a bit deluded. Bear in mind they were giving them away a few seasons ago. This new demand in case all goes well and they can relive the 90's and maybe even win summit. If it doesn't go well then demand will drop off again so SJP is ideal for the owners as they'll just increase the ticket prices instead of developing/relocating in the coming seasons.

They're absolute knackers man.

If they have 29k season ticket holders and 30k in the que, that's 59k tops (multiple log inns, curious fans, etc,etc..)

Where the fuck does this 90-100k come from.
They gave away 10k for free last year.😂

They're deluded. There is a huge fake demand at the moment.

It'll disappear the minute they don't win everything(as is the expectation) or the ground increases.

If the club announced a 'no migration' policy and we had stewards worthy of the name, anyone in a seat they didn't have a ticket for would be turfed out pronto. Hey presto! Problem solved.

Tbf mate, the stewards do try but receive a shitload of abuse.

The migration is an issue though and it will hold us back in getting safe standing unless we can somehow get a grip of the situation

Imo for next season they need to manage the in game seat migration , then they could price seats in line with popularity ie: reduce the season ticket price for the lower North stand , lower North West and North East corners to help fill them as these are the areas that struggle to sell . Match day sales should imo always be a higher price again to encourage season ticket purchase . Another incentive should be to include all home cup comps at a fixed game price ie: £10 adults £5 kids upto 1/4 final stage ....
We cannot fix cup ticket prices below what the EFL/FA state and we also need agreement from the other team.

So long as migration and the behaviour of the kids in the Roker End is addressed, safe standing is a pipe-dream. As for stewarding, I don't go to enough games at the SoL to express any expertise (I'm an exile) but what I've seen is poor even by some much smaller clubs' standards and far short of Prem clubs. Again, limited personal experience.
