Has it not just been hit by a car if it's completely out of the ground? They've then buggered off. I doubt the average vandal could rip one of those machines out the ground.
Sounds like a wild west cowboy has lassoed it from his horse.Someone forwarded me a pic from a Seaham FB page. Looked like someone had tied a rope round it and yanked it out. Bollards either side didnt look damaged
If I was a trader there id probably advertise to pay peoples parking if they dpend a certain ammount rather than miss out.Passed a few times this week and there was hardly any cars parked up. It’s got to affect trade the knars
Or just scrap the parking which locals never wanted anyway. If I was a trader there id probably advertise to pay peoples parking if they dpend a certain ammount rather than miss out.
Not sure if the one in post #344 will be working as yet! No help to your query I appreciate.Anybody used these parking machines yet?
Do they take cash or card or what?
TIA.
Only rightWhen I was out walking on Tuesday around 5ish noticed all cars that displayed a Blue Badge had a ticket under the wiper, obviously none had paid. 30 Mins later I bumped into a couple I knew who received one of the tickets...it wasn't a fine when they opened it, it just warning that disabled had to pay. How long that lasts nee idea.
The council knows bestOr just scrap the parking which locals never wanted anyway.
If they're Durham County Council then i'd presume they'll be the same as the ones at the likes of Hardwick Park and Riverside Park (Chester le St) etc.Anybody used these parking machines yet?

A quid for an hour of dogging doesn't sound that extortionate. Your average blackmailed tory MP would have your hand off for those rates.I heard it was some angry doggers that pulled it out.
