I think he means story. And if so that’s a massive leap.

story implied that COVID had been blown out of proportion and that the effect of the lockdown on the economy Is worse than the effect of letting the virus run it’s course unabated (which to me makes story a bit of a ****).
In true RTG form though, it seems this has been contorted into the man now being an anti-vaxer

I'd be surprised if it's FPP like, if only because during our 'period of exclusivity' with them, they've invested £30m into Derby via MSD. Maybe that's unrelated and the two could happen simultaneously but I find it hard to believe they'd literally be in talks to buy one club whilst investing/loaning into another club at the exact same time.

MSD and FPP are two totally different groups though aint they

There's no way of knowing. We have to accept that people are posting what they've been told. But who told those people? In the absence of bits of paper with signatures on, everything in hearsay. There'll be at least as much misinformation as fact being put out here. It doesn't matter if people think their source is reliable; they could just as easily be being tossed bullshit themselves by someone higher up the food chain for a variety of reasons.

The thing is ITK’s can be split into two categories.

1) Lying attention whores.
2) actually ITK.

what you’re saying is that if he is ITK he shouldn’t share what info he has because it’s winding people up. Think on that a moment: if he is in category 1 will he heed your message or will he carry on seeking attention? Now what about category 2?

Effectively you’re asking anyone telling the truth to stay quiet leaving us only with nut jobs sporting nonsense.

Just be mature enough to take what comes without getting your nickers in a twist. I am more than happy for people to put stuff on here and take things at face value. If you are not you should just ignore it.

That was MSD Capital, not FPP. MSD also loaned money to Southampton. It simply looks like MSD are looking at football as a good way of making money as lenders to them. Good move by them. Most clubs have lousy credit ratings, and interest rates are appropriately high. Their charge documents are structured in a way that makes it almost impossible for them to lose their money too. It's also worth noting that at least one of FPP has now retired from MSD, and now has nothing to do with it (possibly Fuhrman, but it might be Phelan).
 
Just a theory but perhaps Fuhrman and/or Sartori both have interest and are preferred buyers for Donald (who may be able to retain a minor stake). MG & and the Dubai 3 have made an offer that meets the price and Donald can't reject it without it being public knowledge and the fans kicking off. So he accepts, but goes slow, is a bit awkward, trying to delay the process so that his preferred partners can sort their position out and get a deal done. However, before it materialises, MG and co get pissed off with the delays and call it quits.

Furhman has left MSD and apparently setting up on his own. MSD UK has Platek and Phelan names on companies house documents.

Could they still own a football club with them loaning Southampton and derby money? Or would it be seen as a conflict of interest.
