I just don't know why people are trying to justify his credibility because of the sort of people he has behind him when they have no idea what sort of people, if any, are behind him.
The bloke seems to be a complete laughing stock with a history of duboius detrimental deals and legal cases against him. He appears to have a company selling an energy drink that he claims to be worth 100 million but the website for the drink only sells hoodies and caps and the drink isn't available in any shop in the country. There does seem to be some being sold on Amazon now (there wasnt a few weeks ago) but thats enough to generate £100 million? Is it a front?
He's now rocked up at the stadium, paraded around town in a Sunderland shirt and met Rodell in a prevalent pub on the seafront to apparently discuss a deal. I can't remember the club holding club sale talks in a pub prior to yesterday (were FPP doing their deal in a pub?) nor would I expect someone to bypass the owner of the football club next to where they live to discuss a takeover with an employee 100s of miles away. And then the club is reportedly already in a period of exclusivity with another party so making sure you are photographed liasing with another buyer in a pub in town hardly seems feesable.
But he said nice things on the radio like Stavely did.
