Some goalkeepers throw the ball out. Some goalkeepers pass the ball short. Westwood lacks the confidence/ability to do either very often. He prefers to wait and wait and then boot it. Mignolet's distribution isn't fantastic either but it is noticeably better than Westwood's, who is otherwise, I think, a better all round goalkeeper.
