Looks that way. Tbf there are tweaks we could make that would enable this squad to make sense for 3 at the back. We’d need to be as willing to use 3-4-3 as 3-5-2 (should be feasible). We’d need to shift one of McGeouch or Leadbitter - maybe both - to get more energy into midfield. We’d need a left footed centre half as a necessity plus a specialist LWB if Oviedo goes. It would represent a lot more work than we currently have to do in the remainder of the window but it’s doable.

His stats for the first third of last season were pretty much the best in the league. He tailed of badly but I think he was good against Portsmouth in the play off game. I reckon he could be the big " unexpected" hit this season.

i always think 6 is enough personally, you want a least one or two tests before you head into the opening game, plus at that point you have to have your first 11 for the opening day locked, formations etc

I actually love 3-4-3. I genuinely think it’s the best way to play. But you need particular abilities and I’m not sure we can do what we’d need to do operating a one in one out policy.

I’ve got a view from the back of the stand with the running track inbetween the camera and the pitch. The pitch itself looks miles away. Is that as good as it gets or is does anybody know if there’s something I can do to get a better view please?
