Some people will disbelieve because it's easier Marra.

I posted something that appeared on radio in Aus and it has been dismissed out of hand. It may well be wrong but you never know, the takeover rumour initially came from UAE i believe.

Mebbe there's no promising Uruguayans who want to come to a league 1 club?
You did ,what was it again you posted was it about BSA

They didn't have enough players to till their bench, not sure on the players they did have there

One thing I remember reading was something about having to ration water or something at the training ground as they were in so much debt
Fair enough.

I just checked and they had 17 in and 17 out for the season, not sure how many were 1st team players.

Wenger - and would consider lower leagues if the project was right.

And yet Charlton were in a much worse state last season and went up

Yet our number one transfer target last summer decided to sign for charlton. They were wanting an ownership change which they got. On the field issues a bit more stable than safc. Ndong, Kone, Djilibodgi, Rodwell, Alvarez, Cattermole, Oviedo, legal stuff, redundancies, new sponsors searches and a 16 year old in first team squad due to shortage of players. Club making huge losses potentially.
I fail to see how we could have been in more of a mess Bolton and Bury excluded.

no fucker apart from Mcgeady or Maguire maybe and just maybe the goalkeeper
Mcgeadys not one of the short term contracts. I’ll give you McLaughlin though, I thought he’d signed a new one in the summer but apparently not.

Point is we had to sign a few short term stop gaps to boost squad numbers, fine. Problem is we’ve filled the entire squad with them bar one or two.

Charlton weren’t in a worse state, they were in regards to the owner situation but they didn’t have too rebuild a club from top to bottom
Really cant get my head round all this stick for donald, when he came in the club as a whole was catastrophically unsustainable with more people employed than the mags as an example, yet little over a year later the club is close to breaking even, he appointed a manager who was known for having his teams score goals for fun, he immediately started to reconnect the club and the fans again and since then has looked to expand the fan base around the world. He provided his staff with the biggest budget in this leagues history, even without grigg there were still decent fees paid for the likes of o’nien in terms of league one fees. Granted there were several frees signed however i think most have already proven themselves to be up it. I personally believe this squad that was assembled is more than capable of getting promoted if they play consistently at levels which theyve shown in some games to be capable of. Donald has taken a club that was on its knees and turned it around to a point where these very rich individuals feel they want to invest their money into it, and they still feel donald is the man they want running the show. Granted there is still things he has got wrong but he’ll be the first to admit to them but on the whole i feel like hes doing a very good job to me
Because there’s some n here who will just whinge about anything, it won’t take them long to find something about the new owners to whinge about

Donald has cut everything back to the bone because he HAD to, anybody who can't see that we were on a one way ticket to oblivion (as in no club) is either blind or stupid, we simply could not carry on haemorrhaging money. Donald was also honest enough to admit he personally didn't have the money needed to get us back to where we belong, and that he would sell up as soon as people with that kind of money came along. He has done that and in a manner beyond our wildest dreams. Job done, the man deserves a medal not criticism.

Not convinced at all.
I can understand why but if we were challenging at the very top I think we would. All the lads I grew up with are all Sunderland supporters, all the lads a knock about with today are too yet other than 4 with season tickets the rest only go a few times a year. If we were up there every one of them would be wanting to go, just like the last two cup finals when I had about 20 people asking me to sort them a ticket. I'm sure there's groups like them all over the place.

thought the holding company was set up and on companies house?
It is. He told me what it “was” past tense. He’d mentioned a couple weeks back they were looking at best way to structure it jurisdiction wise, llc/ltd and how they’d structure the rest of it ie splitting assets and land out from the club. No idea if he’s right or not, but he told me early this week that bit had been resolved but the share transfer still hadn’t happened. As far as I’m aware in his eyes that’s still the case
He could be talking shit mate. But when he told me I looked at the dates for madrox and there was nearly a month between madrox being registered and the club actually changing hands
