You’re right, he did. I just wasn’t enamoured with the full scenario and that touch does give some semblance of credibility. But there were still gaps. And maybe they’re due to just being captured in a war you don’t want to be involved with and that your future looks pretty f***ing bleak.
And then there’s the propaganda machine.

Comes across as genuine to me. What is quite interesting is that these 3 on particular look to have been drafted in from Novokuznetsk which is central Russia, not far from the Mongolian border.

How much would these guys know of the situation in Ukraine before leaving for seemingly harmless drills. They're then told stories from command of Nazi's having taken control, with no real way of fact checking this when phones are removed etc.

It's easy to say we wouldn't fall for this type of thing, but put yourself in their shoes, at what can they get off? Before they know it they're on a frontline being shot at.

They won’t be able to fly them,
Never used them before wouldn’t be able to use them, also the migs are easier to set up for Ukraine’s use.

There are stories being shared where the older population of Russia hold into the old ways and are misinformed due to access to the internet and there are also conflicting stories that this simply isn’t the case.

I’m well aware that those in the military can/ are indoctrinated into believing the party line.

I’d like to hope what he said is genuine, but I’m a cynical bastard.
