Russell Martin has Ross Stewart as his main target **Transfer confirmed **

He's played 5 mins this season. Rusyn already has an assist so your statement was factually incorrect.

He's actually played a minimum of 17 plus injury time (whatever that was in each of his games). So you're factually incorrect too.

Fair enough- was it a header that Jobe got on the end of? He's absolutely flying 😐😀

Still an assist. I don't think he's as good as Stewart but I think we we actually give him a run of games he'll turn out alright. At least he was getting into good positions.

He might be OK. Not sure he's someone to lead the line but in terms of movement and trying to get on the end of things he looked a level above what we've had so far this season. Long way to go - hopefully he's fit soon and can continue his integration.

Gutted for him. Did great for us. At least he had his big payday. Gone are the days where we panic and offer him that pay day though, thankfully.

Can't believe we got £10m for him like. Absolutely phenomenal deal from the lads that are just "assest stripping" and 'running the club the same way SD/CM did'. Fair play.

Sneaky of us but a good move!
Better he’s out of the picture
Nothing sneaky about it. We offered him a contract and he chose to leave.
Southampton chose to buy him from an informed position knowing he wasn’t fit enough to play.
It’s working out a good deal for us but it’s not like we forced their hand.
Pleased he’s got a decent contract as I loved him here and suspect he’ll never be quite the same.

- No replacement however, money in the bank does not win football matches 👎🏻
Neither does non-playing footballers.

Whatever you say about Stewart, and how good he was, and I was a massive fan, he is completely useless to everyone when injured, with no prospect of playing again for some time. Rusyn however, has contributed something this season, however small, and may yet come good.

I think a few of our fans need dumping in another country without speaking the language and see how long they last. It also can't be easy watching the news every night wondering if family and friends are alive or dead, never mind playing footie.

It must have been seen as a risky transfer. While we have striker issues, Stewart was not, and wouldn't have been for some considerable time yet, the answer to our issues.
