Saw the tweet earlier with a Mag saying we want Keane as he would make us feel relevant.

OF COURSE WE DO.

He is exactly what we need to light the touchpaper and get rid of this mid table L1 mentality we got with Grayson, Coleman, Parkinson & Brent.

IT WOULD BE AMAZING IF HE SIGNS FOR THE FEEL GOOD FACTOR ALONE.

I was in Bath City this morning & a photo of him was on the Back page of one of the papers. When was the last time that happened about SAFC? Its got to be Keane

I agree totally, but we are not what we were mate.
He is one of the biggest names in football. We have to respect that or we will end up with an endless stream of no marks like LJ, or has beens like Warnock and others on the list.

Fair enough. It would greatly depress me. He got Boro to 17th in what was short term contact. He stayed on and they were drifting about. I desperately don't want Warnock even for 17 games. Its against everything we are trying to build. Thoroughly depressing.

Absolutely agree about Keane being one of the biggest names in football mate I just think its a slippery slope when you start having to sell the club to people and I don't want to see us trying to tell some average Championship player we are good enough for them.

Like I say its each to their own and I can see where your coming from and realise I'm probably totally in the minority with my thoughts 👍

Mental isn’t it. The assumption is that he doesn’t know what he’s doing cos he doesn’t talk absolute bollocks about. Gets no credit for how well he turned that around then kicked on in the premier league

They are the last to comment on that. They worshipped Benitez because he made them feel relevant, and they are happier spending tens of millions on dogshit plodders from Burnley & Brighton than picking up highly rated bargains under Ashley for the exact same reason.

Where are these interviews held?
Surely candidates been seen entering/leaving if it’s the academy or sol ?
