Where’s the risk?
We‘ve been down here for four years, the dice has to be rolled. It literally can’t be any worse under Keane than the shit that’s went before him.
And may well be a lot better with the momentum if we get a couple positive results

quinn is a successful businessman...im sure he does the sky thing as well..but he owns shares in some hotels around where i grew up...
Employ league 1 standard managers you become a league 1 team, keane is above league 1 standard he will get us out of there !it’s mental that people prefer mcann over him man ,hull were already one of the best squads in league 1 and were in the prem not long ago it was hardly a difficult job

Hardy (boo, hiss) in today's Times reckons "formal interviews" will take place tomorrow (from which I infer "informal interviews" may have taken place already) & that the 3 candidates are Keane, McCann & Lennon (although he does remark - to what end, I know not - that Warnock is also interested). However, he's about as credible as de Pfeffel Johnson, so it's probably hardly worth posting, but I'm simply following the herd:

Im struggling to fathom out why this is even a debate about who wouldn't or who would have him. Absolutely bizarre, get him in, imagine the buzz round the club man, can imagine the players will give that extra bit aswell. Defoe another plus point. Needs to happen now like
It’s obv they are lacking the winning mentality when it matters, and Keane would bring a level of professionalism and mentality that wouldn’t let that happen

Cards on the table here. My first choice long term would be Rob Edwards, I’ve said that a few times. However, any appointment here is one that needs to get us out of L1 with 17 league games and potentially 3 play off games remaining. It’s really as simple as that. There’s no real cost to any appointment as the transfer window has shut. If the appointment doesn’t work then we don’t go up and we have to start again. Maybe that is with the appointment we are making, maybe it’s not. What this club needs now, more than anything else, is an enormous dose of adrenaline that will get it and us, back up off the deathbed quickly. Which candidates will offer that? I can only think of one.

There's only one (un)fair way to sort this all out:

FIGHT!

Betting on Keane immediately suspended....
