If Keane joins it will be a roller coaster ride.

I remember reading his second autobiography and thinking he’s definitely not finished with us.

My one slight reservation is that unlike his first spell here he won’t have an opportunity to bring his own players in.

If he’s going to work a miracle and take us up automatically he’ll have to do it with this squad …. but if Johnson can get them to third ….
Keane will have them grsfting their tits off for each other. He'll make dan neil twice the player he currently is.

Brought the pricks out the woodwork this post mind , absolutely clueless , he was dog shit at the end and lost all respect from the players and a lot if fans
It’s fine to disagree you know mate. I loved him and think he’s absolutely perfect for what we need.

The highest of standards, doesn’t piss about, doesn’t bull shit and just tells it as it is. Will give the place an unbelievable lift that might take us up. If it doesn’t then we tried and it will be miles better than that bullshitter Brent pissing about

Might be a good time to return to your old ways if you think roy keane is the answer , he would destroy these kids

I get the reservations and I’m not one to shut that down. I’ve been on the receiving end of that with the last couple of managers when I didn’t think they were any good.

That said, I don’t think there’s much evidence to say he’d ruin young players. He didn’t the first time he was here (Simpson, Evans, Stokes, Leadbitter, Henderson etc) and didn’t with Ireland when he was hands on on the park.

Amazing how many on here assume Keane is the same person as he was a decade ago. Maybe with age he has learned from his mistakes, had a decade of experiences within the game, he played under two of the greatest managers ever, will have contacts galore and will certainly put us on the map again, we have been too long in the shadows, maybe, just maybe, the shitshow that is our club and its fortunes, might be changing. Let me hope.

Tbf mate, the squad is good enough for automatic promotion. Someone just needs to sort out the away form.

Can you just imagine….Keano and Sunderland both out of the wilderness …..but rising back to the top like a phoenix together…….you just couldnt make that shit up man……what a story it would be!
That’s all I can think about..

It’s like Christmas Eve, I’m 10 and Santa’s bringing a Sega Master System 😁 (I’m 43 for crying out loud)

Excellent news.

Don’t get the dislike of him.

He was brilliant for us last time. Absolutely galvanised us from heading to League One in to a side that won the league.

He’ll give the club a massive boost.

I’d much rather that than a Parkinson or Lennon.

KEANO!

Me either, he spent a fortune last time on players we couldn't move on, it didn't end well. Not a good choice.
I think he's a poor choice and a decision borne out of sentiment and hysteria. However it will certainly be entertaining and put the club in the spotlight
I am hoping for best
