I'm clinging to the fact that I hope KLD & Speakman see promotion this season as important and not the be all and end all, the right man is more important as its about the future... the one thing this club has not considered in recent years.. However we are all sick as fuck being in division 3, its f***ing minging.
its all they've ever known. They are young and in it for the long haul. But we have had years of torture.. its about perspective. perhaps..
anyway.. get a f***ing move on
If we don’t go up we’re losing 9 players, we have to go up or yet again it’s another fresh start.

We don’t need someone with USPs, protocols and zones of uncertainty. We need notification, conviction and determination.

If Keane comes in and does rubbish, is it going to be Speakman's fault? or someone else's?
There will always be irrational people who shout sack the board regardless.
But I would have no problem, I was happy with the appointment of Ross even though it didn't work out.
Not so much Parkinson and LJ.

How about something like this?

Perhaps Speakman gave the 3 stooges the following brief "We are not going to rock the boat and risk upsetting any players by meddling with the squad. LJ had lost the dressing room and the 6-0 was a direct result of that. It wasn't a true reflection of the playing squad's ability. Anyway, I picked that team and formation for LJ and we are going to stick with it.

I'd like any potential new manager to be able to see for themselves what we are and are not capable of"
A couple of hours reviewing the seasons footage will show this. I hope that the new coach will have done this and already have an idea of which solutions to apply.

It's more like 13 we lose and that assumes Stewart and Neil stay which I don't think they both will. Good thing we have a long term plan!

My take is (and only my opinion), it was agreed after last Friday's meeting but then Speakman did his interview, probably to look like the club were still in control of things and doing due diligence, but knowing a deal was done. Maybe no malice intended but it had the opposite effect as intended as it upset Keane's camp who suddenly thought "what the fuck's going on I thought we had an agreement?". In turn things have had to be smoothed over which may not have been easy and maybe close to collapsing so the club have had to put a plan B back into action which had originally been 'stood down'.
Hopefully things with the Keane camp have been smoothed over and back on track.
