In the ideal world, tomorrow's anouncement is Keanos arrival and KS departure.
In the real world it's likely McCann announced
Thousands will walk away if this, or the appointment of any other lower league nonentity comes to pass.
After the shambles of last week, SAFC are now testing the patience of the most loyal of the loyal. Biggest average gate outside the Premier League and bigger than many top flight clubs-take 5k plus to Bolton for a bog standard third tier match and over 38k last Saturday.

Absolute piss-take.

If Roy Keane turns you down then I'm not sure how you have managed that. He seemed desperate to get a job. He isn't daft, he knows isn't getting anything better than Sunderland in league 1.

Personally think he'd be made to take it now after Doncaster and Cheltenham were blown.

He could win 10 in a row and still wouldn't have enough for automatic promotion.

Then he'll be labelled a failure if he doesn't go up via the play-offs.

It's a stacked deck really.

I assumed we had an actual replacement ready - someone very high profile who we'd lose if we didn't pull the plug there and then.

Farke was the first name who came to mind actually, didn't know he was off the market. Was expecting a bit of a coup anyway.

It's a list that could've been drawn up by anyone with a passing interest in this club.

The club saying they'll take their time to make the right appointment, but what that really means is, who's out of work and available.

Maybe they should use that data model they spent so much money on to show them how well bringing in out of work managers has gone for us over the years.....we've basically been the football managers equivalent of the Jobcentre for decades now.

Who's out of work and who's the cheapest are the only two points the club are interested in, the rest is all verbal diarrhea.
