The brief period with kone and kaboul was down to the team gaining confidence, kone has since proved he’s not very good

They keep picking him because he’s a good player. Anyone who watched him at wolves see that, his organising was very good, talking to the younger players. He prob shouldn’t play every game as he is getting on a bit for a player

Slagging off our own players is what we do best on here.

He’s a world class player at the very end of his career surrounded largely by dross. He’s not going to be lightning fast or a physical match for young Championship players, ffs. He’s stuck by us when he could’ve dumped us and had a much easier life elsewhere. There’s some very unpleasant people who call themselves fans on here. It’s one thing being frustrated with an aging player, typing out personal abuse is another thing altogether and says more about the poster than the player.

I’ve the utmost respect for the bloke.

1 half decent game doesnt make up for the last 2 seasons of crap hes served up.
He was a good player. He isnt anymore.
Its not his fault. Blame father time for catching up with him.
And blame our rubbish recruitment for not finding any better
 
Bizarre criticising O'Shea. We signed him on the cheap, he's made over 300 appearances, generally played quite well and been a very good assured experienced player in our squad.

He should only be a squad player in a coaching type role but because our squad has been so badly handled he's a regular still at what 36/37

No but he is what we have got and if he can still please the Manager then until we get anyone better he'll do fer me. Sure CC will sort out the dressing room - something must be going right team not as fekked as with previous two; Loath to call them this (managers)

JOS will never give anything other than 100%. Sometimes that's enough

Helped by big sams tactics they played well, but kone was massively over hyped at the time, as it’s showing for the last year where he has been shit
 
Been one of his biggest critics but thought he played really well today. Assured display which is what we needed, especially when Browning and Wilson can be erratic

Alas world class, he has never been. A half decent regular substitue at Manure gave him his medals and guaranteed him a place in the Ireland team.
