Ross Stewart

Without the injuries he’s 100% a premier league player

No idea how people who watched him every week can say otherwise

Someone his size who is that mobile and quick, and hard working, and a good finisher

He’s absolute quality
This is how I see it as well, has all the physical ability. And like you say he ran himself into the ground, was like a 1 man strike duo, target man and finisher.

I agree. People saying ‘let’s get him back’ . Why would he? If fit he’ll do well.

He’s very unique. Think about players in the premier league, can you think of many strikers that tall and physical who are also mobile and really quick. There’s a handful at best.

Worked his whole career to get this far

Problem was he was reasonably old by the time he left Ross county, and was pretty much on the same deal with us since he signed, he’d have made no money from football, needs to start earning cash as it’s a very short career

Hope the lad has a class season next year, he's a good kid and deserves it. Done it the hard way.

Unfortunately, I fear he's fucked and will be lucky to make 10 appearance's in the PL.

Hope he smashes it in the Prem, good honest hard working lad who ran himself into the ground for us.

The 'no mark' comment is either a wind up or they know fuck all about football.

I hope he can't get a kick, so comes back here on loan and fires us to the Prem.

I don't think he's a good enough finisher to be a good PL player. He isn't a good enough footballer to be at a club where chances are not at a premium. And I don't think he is a good enough finisher to be a top player towards the bottom.

But he is of the requisite standard to be in that league generally, yes.

Shame for him internationally as well, because a fit and firing Ross Stewart transforms Scotland imo. He's much better than Adams.

He may well start way down the pecking order, but at 28 it may be his only opportunity to play PL football. Given hrs barely started at Saints unless they buy 5 forwards or something he'd be mad not to give it till January at least, especially given their manager really rated him.
