Ross Stewart valuation question

All the subs coming on and telling us he’s not worth this or that!! ( never having really seen the lad and secretly hoping to get him on the cheap !)

Nobody and I mean absolutely nobody apart from you thinks he is worth 40m quid. What on earth are you using to get to that valuation?
Thanks for taking the time to look through every post to point that out! You’re wrong by the way.

Surowiecki (The Wisdom of Crowds) would take all of the estimates on here and find the average. So taking that approach, I looked at the first 6 pages for the estimate (I ignored the 1 billion valuation :lol:) and added together a random 20 valuations which came to 276 million. Divided by the 20 contributors I randomly selected, this comes to 13.8 million.

Random Aggregated Valuation = 13.8 million

If we sold him for £25m I would be annoyed, but hopefully we could find somebody else to score goals.

Anything less then we might as well lose him on a free.

It’s not what he’s worth it’s how much is the magic number that means we would sell him!

He’s very hard to value. He’s had a handful of games in the championship and has also had a lengthy injury. Who knows if he’ll a) stay fit and b) be good enough for the PL.

Che Adams was sold for £15 million and Birmingham werent in the same position as us. Everyone knows if you buy in January you end up overpaying too. Id say £15m - £20m with add ons.

You must be heavily on the same stuff as the bloke in your avatar mate if you wouldn’t be happy with 25 million. We’re probably hoping closer to 7-10 and that’s a push.

He went to the premiership though.

If I was the club I'd give him a pay rise now and then say if we go up you get a massive pay rise. If we don't we will not hold you to the 12 month extension and you can leave for a set fee of say £8 million.
