Just the model we seem to be running (which I’m not against ) is buy cheap sell for profit .

All club's (bar Real Madrid and one out two others) try to do that, some of then are utterly shit at it admittedly but it doesn't mean they end up selling star players for a half or a third of what they're actually worth just because a profit is a profit.
We are seemingly being run far better than we have for years so selling players on the cheap isn't what I'd expect at all

Exactly and that cost us promotion. Selling in January is a big no no and if you do sell it’s because of a ridiculous offer. 5-10 million for Ross Stewart isnt a ridiculous offer, especially with him now being our only striker.

I think 10 is a fair price given his age and what he’s done so far. I do think the longer we hold on to him the higher his price will go though
