I’m not winding anyone up I just think we’ve already set out budgets for this window, I think the 11m will be used on running costs for the year and a couple extra mil in the budget for next summer

Ah fairs I thought you were. Nah we defo will which is why we’ve been in advanced talks with Simic.

Selling Clarke allows us to get a few quality players to improve the squad as a whole. Isidor seems to be a canny addition from his career so far a lot more senior experience than the strikers we have been adding

Same with Simic or Mendy if either of them come in

Phil smith said yesterday we still want Mendy and are hopefully it gets done, he even said in his statement he’s starting to think about deserting the club to force a move which he really doesn’t want to do. But he feels as though he’s been betrayed as they promised he could go when he signed his new deal

I'm hoping @Grimes isn’t correct, but it is entirely possible.

Along with the value of existing players in the squad, adding another 2 or 3 young and developing players could add further value and sustainability.

At some point we have to stick or twist in this league with regards to investment for an actual promotion to the PL.

I admire much of what KLD has done so far financially, but if he thinks that the best fans in the league will settle for anything other than a serious push for promotion, he's very much mistaken.

If we do achieve that promotion with a very young and still developing squad, we will be in a very strong position, not having to offload the whole team that got you that promotion, but instead just adding stardust.

This approach is fairly unique in recent times And Forest donkey's years ago is the last team that I can remember who went for youth.

His agents were here Wednesday for 1 night. I had no idea who he was so not sure if he was here. There were 4 in total. 2 agents from talkfootball (based in Germany) and two younger lads I assume were footballers. One most most certainly Simic…..10000%


When I said the agents were here. People jumped on to see who they represented. Simic being one and all went from there.
Also reported widespread in foreign and local media(unless they read my post)🤷‍♂️
