His record at Salzburg was pretty average, although obviously he was a kid. One of those where I just didn't get it - fine as a back up prospect but many were suggesting he was coming here as our main CF signing.

Think it was out of desperation that we sign a striker. Don’t think we had isidor then and Mayenda had an unsuccessful loan at Hibs.

What an odd link and eventual signing for Cardiff this was. Ended up signing for them and has since been loaned out to two different clubs. Odd.
