I watched last night's as I spent much of my childhood living in Bamburgh. There were no Tristan's in the village back then. Paddle boarding with Les Ferdinand sounds like something dreamt up by Alan Partridge.

Horrible bloke. Saw him having a full on rant at his wheelchair bound mother in law in Heathrow once too. Told her she had spoilt his holiday and that she’s a leech. Can’t abide him.

Funnily enough I once encountered him at Heathrow. Was travelling with my then 3 year old, and he gave me a completely unsubtle “oh for fucks sake, a toddler” look.

I’m only sad she was good as gold and didn’t totally ruin his day, the shithouse.
