That's what Man Utd and Arsenal planned ages ago when they had links with Belgium clubs. Cannot remember the club Arsenal were linked with but Man Utd had ties with Royal Antwerp. Think Leicester have a link with some Belgium club as well
Agents have been buying shares in feeder clubs for a while to get there young african/South American players in, get an EU passport then get them into the U.K. leagues where they will hopefully be successful and sell for £millions. It is evident that the MSD partners are “soccer” as where they will make there money and more than just owning one club but spreading there bets so to speak!

Midtjland look likely to make it to the group stage this year

them and Kobenhaven tend ti get knocked out in the latter stages of the qualifying round.

can’t see it taking a huge amount more to kick on make the groups again. More cost effective getting a club like that there than it would be getting us there
FC Midtjylland are owned by Matthew Bentham who also owns Brentford.
Already secured a Euroleague spot, they certainly will be making him some money to possibly invest in Brentford.
How Platek will use his Danish club is another matter, who knows where and if he will invest at a higher level, Sonderjyske is not exactly a team aiming for European football every year.

It does make you wonder what the end game is mind. I'd assume he'd want profit from any footballing venture, how much can you really earn with a Danish club? Unless you're getting them to a decent stage of the CL which is probably unlikely given the difficulty in attracting players to that division. Maybe FPP are still planning to own a club together but are also doing their own thing (or maybe it's just all fucked and we're stuck here for the next decade, but hopefully not!)
The most likely outcome.

Not just Africa there was a South American club based in it's countries 2 Division, doing something similar by buying up all the best young talent but then loaning them out to better clubs basically putting them in the shop window.

The only thing I see of interest in this is it blows SD theory out of the water of they FPP “don’t want to buy a FC they only want to invest in me”.

What a joke he is. 😂😂😂
