RLB will be gone before next season

He's a victim of our early good form, if he'd been consistently scraping wins here and there to get us 16th the people out for blood would be buzzing, think too many people got carried away and are genuinely disappointed we won't be near Europe, we were dead certs to go down since we won the playoffs, some need to put things into perspective

Unfortunately some people on here can never accept when a manager needs changing. Seen it with Jack Ross, Mowbray etc. If we want to progress as a football club we need to move on from RLB. He has done a great job, but has now taken us as far as he can. That’s not a criticism either.

After some of the mumbling chancers and half hearted nitwits we've had over the last 10 yor I think he's a breath of fresh air.

Tells it like it is IMHO, although if he was totally honest he would've admitted that the players thought they could coast through against the bottom team in League 1.

They couldn't, and once Vale got a sniff, they went for the upset with some of their players now facing questions as to how they haven't been able to do that once or twice more this season.

Jordan Gabriel didn't give Angulo anything all game and was outstanding.

Mag behaviour by vast sections of the fan base... there was big calls to sack him before the play offs which was embarrassing too... the man has earned his place at the table!!!
Highly disappointed with the cup exit but the current holders were beaten by a non league side!
 
I’m as angry and disappointed as anyone with yesterday. More so at the players than RLB but he’s got to take his share of the blame too. It’s one game though and on the back of a draw and win away in the league. It’s still been an excellent season.

Lucky my arse, Coventry were poor and Sheff U not much better.
 
Highly unlikely RLB will get sacked this summer but it wouldnt surprise me if he's gone by Xmas. Unless we have a change in style I can see us stalling next season. We need to create more in order to kick on and I dont see RLB adapting. He's earned the chance to prove me right tho.
That said I'd have that Bodo Glimt coach here in a heartbeat.
 
He could have the club finish in second this season and some of our fans would want him sacked for not finishing first…

Some of our fanbase could be used to build nuclear bunkers they are that dense.
 
You're wrong.....at least eight regular players out through injury and suspension plus a three fringe players injured. Players coming in are either not match fit, no spark or simply not good enough. You can only work with the players available and RLB is not a magician. Yes it was a shit game but on the bright side we beat Leeds which I would take all day over yesterdays result.
 
Not sure the day after getting binned out of the Cup by a team that’ll be playing in the 4th tier is the right time to objectively discuss RLB’s future as our Manager. But, it’s got to be something under consideration when the senior leadership do a post season review. Ironically, I think Reg’s position will be more under threat if we managed to get a European place. In the same way we upgraded our squad after promotion, we should look at a managerial upgrade for the next level
