I've been on chat today taking about the limits as I might just use it for my everyday card

However, changes to limits are applied immediately, so I don't see the point. Set a limit, spend it, card rejected, just go into app and increase it. What's the point if you can just bypass it?

It could be useful for letting your lass go shopping and not spending a fortune on the card.

Forgive me if I'm being a bit thick here, but you get this card, put a certain amount of money on it then can take it out abroad at much better rates? So I'd be saving money as opposed to exchanging cash over here?

Also I'm off to Romania next month and they advise using ATMs over there as apparently you get shite exchange rates over here, I take it something like this would be cheaper than using my own card?

Is it better or worse than a Travelex Supercard as someone mentioned earlier?

You'll get the rates the bank trades at. Use it like you would your debit card in the UK.

Yes, you load English money into it, and when you use it you get the official exchange rate

But you have a limit of 200 cash withdrawals (or 400 on premium) @Scottish_Mackem

Be careful with it mind. Last month I put £600 on it and used it a couple of times in Edinburgh, woke up in the hotel in the morning and checked my balance and the whole lot had gone - taken out in 3 transactions in Canada.
At first they said it could take up to 45 days to get it back, but I said that was no good - suppose I'd been out of the UK on holiday? I had to get the hotel to email the invoice to prove I was in Edinburgh (despite the fact they could see I'd bought a round of drinks in Leith at midnight - fuck knows how I could have got to Toronto 3 hours later).
I think their systems had been hacked but they wouldn't admit it.

I was liking the look of the card but this post has put me right off.

No more risky than any other card really

I'm off to Vegas in a few weeks like, if I order one now will it be here in time?

In Vegas the cash machines can be expensive to withdraw using it (or any other card) cheapest place in the casino royale which is centrally located opposite Caesers / Mirage where they charge $1 a transaction. They also do $1 Michelob and have some of the lowest minimum buy in tables on the strip so it's a great place all round
