According to journo on twitter, fa have said it will be heard before Saturday.

Won't be overturned surely
No, it won't. The FA can't be seen to condone any sort of violent behaviour whatsoever, it doesn't matter that Johnson went down like a sack of shit, the intent for violent conduct was clearly there.

If they rescind this one then everyone sent off for 'hands up' in future will then start to appeal.

Tbf it should be, if Pardinio had handled it better they'd have a good chance

Surely the FA must hate the twat and see what he's doing though

Look at it this way, WHEN we beat them on saturday it will be 1 less excuse for them to say "they had a weakend side, no wonder we beat them".

I don't know how Pardew can say it was a red and no appeal then change his mind.

Sticks of desperation as there have said

Aside from a bit of over-egging the head-butt, the Norwich guy didnt do a lot wrong.

Play acting in an attempt to get a fellow professional dismissed is totally wrong.

The offence was not worthy of a red card, for either recipient.

I reckon we appealed simply because Norwich had done so.

I suspect in the same scenario, SAFC would do the same - and you would expect nothing less.

Never mind the headbutt or sputum...you're surely not allowed to violently push and shove each other like that, no matter how childish it looks?

Personally, I did think it was a red card and I'll be very surprised if it's rescinded; I'm not basing that on him being a mag.

the pushes were exactly the same style PDC used on that daft ref when he got banned for ages and the ref fell owa

the red card has to be upheld - and if he doesn't get an extra for a frivolous appeal - then I've had it with the FA( again!)
If it is rescinded , we'll still do the scruffy *****

Don't know if its true but a few are saying the hearing is this afternoon. Somehow doubt it myself.

Just confirms that the mags have no shame and are shitting it.

None of which necessarily stops us from f***ing it up on Saturday but they really ought to be embarrassed about the way they're carrying on

Tiote did it back in 2012 when Sessegnon got sent off, what goes around comes around.
