Remy Appeal

Knew Pardew was a liar
If the FA have a backbone, they will stand by the red card as there is clear intent from Remy, as well as Remy spitting which I bet a lot of us have highlighted to the FA already ;)
If he plays, I worry for us - if he doesn't, I'll be quite confident (until when it's the actual derby day of course)
The fa will only overturn the original decision if the ref says he has seen the incident replayed on tv and has changed his mind or if it is a blatantly wrong decision. I heard no one suggest that it was a wrong decision, some have said harsh but that's it and I can't see ref changing his mind. Be a major surprise if it is rescinded

This, the FA backs refs to the hilt.

He publicly said this

Pardew said: "There is probably just enough for the referee to send them off,

They should give him another game for appealing after telling lies

SSN have their weekly feature with Dermot Gallagher be "interesting" (use term lightly) to see what he says about the red.

I can see them just doing this to have a chance of playing against us, I think he will too.

f***ing ridiculous

I hope the twat gets his way and Remy plays then him and Taylor get in a tangle and break each other's legs while trying to stop Jozy bulldozing his way through to score...a proper Carlsberg moment :D

seemed a realistic prospect until you said this

Not in a million years will it be overturned! What are they thinking.

To overturn it the FA would be undermining their referee and setting a precedent suggesting that it is ok/not a red card offence to push an opponent and put your head to his face - though some referees may be lenient towards it, it can't be set as a precedent!

He raised his hands and made contact with his head, showed aggression (which can all be interpreted legally by refs as a red card offence), also he spat on the lad. Surely not getting overturned.

It will be dealt with before the match. The FA aren't daft for this kind of stunt.
The following is from the BBC website

Newcastle appeal against the red card Loic Remy received in Tuesday's goalless draw with Norwich. The 27-year-old, who is on loan from Queens Park Rangers, was dismissed along with Norwich's Bradley Johnson.
Should Remy fail in his appeal, he will miss Saturday's Tyne-Wear derby at home to Sunderland in addition to games with Chelsea and Tottenham

If it's overturned, we should all just nut & spit at the mags!.... We can't be punished!!! The FA said that was a perfectly ok way to behave when at a football match!!

Bad example to set even appealing such a thing.... Shows the class, again, of those up the road.

FUCKWITS !

"We won't appeal, because I think there was enough for Chris there, but once he has done that stupid reaction, the crowd went all mad and the referee has got no choice really."

Jesus Christ, the left hand really doesn't know what the right is doing at that club.

Should Remy fail in his appeal, he will miss Saturday's Tyne-Wear derby at home to Sunderland in addition to games with Chelsea, Tottenham and the additional 3 games against Aston Villa, Hull and Everton due to frivolous (f***ing ridiculous) appeal. The club itself have induced a 20pt deduction for setting a bad example to how a football club should be run.

Tidied
