Relegation odds

Bit sobering, 4/11 on 365

It certainly suggests we have a lot of work to do in the transfer market
Tbf the last play off winners got 12 points, I’m not surprised we’re that short of a price to go down.
Leeds are a bigger club than Everton, Newcastle and Sunderland. Not all 3 clubs combined, although still wouldn't be too far off.
Not this arsehole again

Back to pretending to support Leeds again are we, mr Dutch Sunderland fan?

Having read up on Sunderlands ownership & the system in place in terms of young signings / brooding the youth I do wonder if the higher ups will look to follow the same philosophy of clubs like Burnley & Norwich and aim to get promoted, not worry about going down providing they aim to come back up within the following 1-2 seasons with the parachute money ( yoyo club).

I hope not as Sunderland for me are a proper club that has the stature of deserving a place in the Premier League.

I just cant see past the promoted 3 clubs going back down. Maybe one of you could catch out Wolves minus Cunha or a Brentford/Bournemouth if their managers leave / lose a few key players in the summer.

Would love Leeds to drop back down mind. The most deluded fanbase in the country, surpassing even the Geordies.
Done rule out your lot for the drop either.

Think the 3 sides coming up will be much better equipped that the 3 that came up last season.

West Ham, Wolves and Everton will all be down there scrapping.

If bookies were correct Brighton, Brentford, Bournemouth etc would be in League 1…… we go into next season with 0 points like everyone else….. we have history of clinging on in the prem (see last 5 years of being there) … we will stay up and steadily build with the current framework 😎

Everton, Newcastle and Sunderland have all won more league titles than Leeds.

Apart from number of fans, trophies, years spent in the top flight, top flight top scorers, uninterrupted years in the top flight and one or two other things Leeds are massive

Nobody would have predicted Spurs and Man U being so low this season.
How many teams will sack managers next season leaving an unpredictable situation?

Zero pressure on us. At least we know we never give in these days and fight as hard as we can - and with a manager who puts thought and consideration ahead of his own ego.

Any odds on us beating Derbys 11 points, out of curiosity. Not that I think we will, though I havent ruled it out :D

We will finish above Leeds, Burnley, Wolves, West Ham and possibly some others.
Fuck the gap it's all media hype 😜

Bournemouth, Brentford must be due a wobble, wolves maybe too, forest and palace have European football to contend with, important to get off to a good start and win our home games

I think if EFC were going to drop it would have been in previous seasons mate. Its actually a minor miracle we haven't when you consider the last few seasons:

1. Real Russian owner sanctioned

2. Russian sponsors sanctioned leading to us breaching PSR + 2x points deductions

3. Moshiri running out of money from said real owner and having to take out payday loans at ridiculous interest rates (the new owners have paid off / remortgaged these loans which will save us £50m a season in interest payments alone which shows how they were crippling us).

4. Fanbase at war with the board / chairman and protests.

5. Having to sell Richarlison, Gordon, Digne, James Rodriguez to appease PSR and have no money to replace them with like for like.

6. Awful managerial appointments like Benitez, Lampard then Dyche.

Moyes seems to fit the club like a glove and the good feel factor with the new owners & new stadium seem to have created that buzz around the place after years of shite. I actually think we could be Dark horses for top 8 next season providing we recruit correctly + get lucky with injuries).

Important thing for us is getting recruitment right, looks like we're signing Alcaraz permanently who has been great for us since on loan in Jan, we've held talks over a £30m deal for Delap also (but so have Chelsea, Utd, Newcastle).

I like what Vitor has done with Wolves but my concern with him is he doesn't seem to stay at a club for very long, I also think Cunhas individual brilliance lifted the gloom around your place this season similiar to Richarlison the season we stopped up under Lampard. Be interesting to see how you perform without him although you have a few players who are still good PL level players.

West Ham I think have just about enough, I do think Forest may struggle with the demands of Europe / If they lose Gibbs-White. Their owner is a mentalist and could see things boiling over at some point with the manager there.
