Relegation odds

Having read up on Sunderlands ownership & the system in place in terms of young signings / brooding the youth I do wonder if the higher ups will look to follow the same philosophy of clubs like Burnley & Norwich and aim to get promoted, not worry about going down providing they aim to come back up within the following 1-2 seasons with the parachute money ( yoyo club).

I hope not as Sunderland for me are a proper club that has the stature of deserving a place in the Premier League.

I just cant see past the promoted 3 clubs going back down. Maybe one of you could catch out Wolves minus Cunha or a Brentford/Bournemouth if their managers leave / lose a few key players in the summer.

Would love Leeds to drop back down mind. The most deluded fanbase in the country, surpassing even the Geordies.

I'm not really sure how we are similar to the Norwich and previous Burnley models like.

Leeds are a bigger club than Everton, Newcastle and Sunderland. Not all 3 clubs combined, although still wouldn't be too far off.

It would be mint if we upset the expected result and sat back with 20% each game but not conceding much and a breakaway from Mayenda et al.
That'll be the blueprint I think. I'd expect us to target wide players with genuine pace, and a big knacker at the back.
