No. It's called debate.
I've said consistently for the best part of 2 years my views on the Saudi's. Over and over again. I've called them abhorrent time and time again. I praised @Guinness Guzzler who suggested a cross fan base action in support of Yemen.
None of that will matter and shouldn't stop the mods from following the rules in which they normally do a great job of.
If we aren't careful, every single thread that's ever replied to by a mag will continually be derailed as this one has which is a shame because it detracts from a really pertinent issue.

If you feel that is the case then just leave the thread.
When it comes to claims of slander or libel we tend to adopt a safety first approach.
If you can quote instances of MIP's apologia then we'll look at them.

He has repeatedly said throughout interactions on here that he will continue to support Newcastle United since the new takeover. My argument has been consistant that by doing so he is indirectly supporting an abhorrent regime, as is anyone who follows the same route, and therefor a supporter and apologist for that regime.
That is indisputable and not in the least slanderous.
Him however stating that I accused him of being anti homosexual is completely false, and slanderous in the extreme.
I am simply defending myself in view of what I consider to be heavy handed treatment.
I would advise you look again at my "offending post", whilst bearing the above in mind, and tell me if you still consider it to be inappropriate and why.
If you can quote a post of his that is clear apologia for the regime's anti gay actions then I'll have a look at it.
If you can't then please just move on.

I never said he was an apologist simply for the regimes anti gay actions. I said he is a supporter and apologist for the whole regime, by association, and by giving them financial support, which he admits he will. He cannot pick and choose which bits he likes, and which bits he doesn't, no matter how much he'd like to.
I cannot see how that can be argued against.

Don't do that. This is a rare example of a disagreement going wrong then going right. We need more of this reasonable posting and ability to deal with arsey situations.
For what it's worth my views on your views were that I found you disappointingly non-commital in your first posts about the Saudis on the day of the deal and rightly took some stick for it, however, since reading everything else you've had to say on it I think your views are spot on.
Good work by @Pancho giving posters a chance to work these situations out as well. Class modding on this occasion.
