Submarine thriller where a Russian submarine commander ( Sean Connery ), tries to defect by sailing into USA waters. Rookie agent Harry Redknapp is flown in and tries to sabotage the plan by spreading rumours to The Moscow News that the commander is in fact a Scotsman, thus breaking the crew's morale and faith in their skipper.
