Honestly? Not a chance (aware this will probably bite me on the arse ). We were in the exact same situation last season and ended up finishing 10th and have had a horrendous fixture list so far. I think its incredibly short sighted to have us favourites to go down if I'm honest although of course there's a risk it could happen.

Small club syndrome. They claim to be huge but they’re in awe of him cos he managed Real Madrid for 5 minutes and won the Champions League over 10 years ago. Some of them are slowly waking up to how overrated he is. Not bad, just overrated.
I don’t think he is overrated. But he certainly does not bring entertaining football!

Much like last season you will spend a fair chunk of it looking over your shoulders but I do think yous will nick enough results to stay up.
The football he has yous playing would make Allardyce and Pulis blush mind.

At what point is it not a horrendous fixture list? I’m sure West Ham, Cardiff, Huddersfield, soton, Brighton, Fulham Watford Burnley and Wolves have all played some of Man U Chelsea Man City Liverpool and Spurs

Cardiff and Huddersfield are almost certainties to go down.

They only have to avoid 3rd bottom.

It will be a complete non-event of a season but I don't think they'll go down.

Stay up or not, they are playing (as someone has already said) football that would embarrass big sam and Pulis.
Have they come out of their half yet ? More of the same please Rafa.

I said it earlier on but they’re 2 points off safety now so this whole goal difference is worth a point bollocks is meaningless now.

It's become rafa United ... the cult club where it's rafa über alles.. and he can do no wrong. Somewhere long ago the mags lost sense of who they are. A regional unfashionable club who can't compete with the top 6.

Their brief spell of over achieving coincided with the boom of Sky and the Premiership and this has made many of them to grow up thinking that’s where they belong. Since the Premier League began they’ve had more bottom half/Championship finishes than top half.
Before that they’d not finished in the top four of the First Division since 1951. I really struggle to see where their sense of entitlement comes from.

I disagree, I think he is overrated. The list of clubs he has managed is far more impressive than his achievements. He did a great job at Valencia and Liverpool but since then he has gone from club to club based on past glories.
