). We were in the exact same situation last season and ended up finishing 10th and have had a horrendous fixture list so far. I think its incredibly short sighted to have us favourites to go down if I'm honest although of course there's a risk it could happen.
As far as I’m concerned Rafa is doing a terrific job and long may he reign as Lord of the Pasties.

At what point is it not a horrendous fixture list? I’m sure West Ham, Cardiff, Huddersfield, soton, Brighton, Fulham Watford Burnley and Wolves have all played some of Man U Chelsea Man City Liverpool and Spurs

Their brief spell of over achieving coincided with the boom of Sky and the Premiership and this has made many of them to grow up thinking that’s where they belong. Since the Premier League began they’ve had more bottom half/Championship finishes than top half.
Before that they’d not finished in the top four of the First Division since 1951. I really struggle to see where their sense of entitlement comes from.
I disagree, I think he is overrated. The list of clubs he has managed is far more impressive than his achievements. He did a great job at Valencia and Liverpool but since then he has gone from club to club based on past glories.
