No surprises with no incoming on the last day of the window. It's nine years since NUFC signed a player on deadline day.
I expect Benitez will be gone within a fortnight.
No signings made since July, deliberately not trying to get them in.
Joselu, mate?

Expect him to pay his £6m fee or claim constructive dismissal?

Some Highlights:

The fact that many of the summers targets have selected to go to lesser clubs than Newcastle, must clearly be evidence of this, and it should be a wake up call for everyone associated with the club.

What the hell is a "lesser" club.
Based on what ??? Can only be the delusional behavior of the fans

The fat knacker will be off before any of the media start reports of a 2nd relegation with the club.

Probably done enough to feature in a Sir Bobby cloud collage tho.

Already touting himself

But but Ashley spends nowt

He's done a disappearing act has @Catts4Life his nan has probably forced him to clean all the spunk rags from his room that he's been drying his eyes with.

He's the new @Cridge

He's deffo going to make a new login now. Wonder if this time he will admit he's a mag or try again to pretend to support the lads.

You quite clearly stated - using Arsenal/Anelka/Henry as your example - that Arsenal did not win the league because spent less than they made from the sale of Anelka that season.

Don't make me quote you.

Just admit you're an idiot. And a Mag.

And please, tell me where I'm misunderstanding you here - I stated as a fact that I can back up - that it's teams with the largest salaries than win trophies, not teams that spend the most - so why were you asking me to explain about Spurs?

Spurs pay peanuts to their players in comparison to other teams and have won nowt.

But finish above teams that pay their players more.

Remember when you signed Michael Owen for a club record in 2005, after finishing 3rd the season before? Bearing in mind, you finished 14th, was that an upgrade then?

They didn't finish 3rd the season before they signed Owen. Hope this helps.

How is that relative? You told me the highest wage-payers out-perform the rest

Here is everything I have said on the subject.

It has been proven beyond doubt that historically it's not the clubs who spend the most who win the most.

Success is driven by your wage bill. Teams that pay the most in salaries have won the most historically - not teams who pay the most for players.

Success is driven by wages - fact.

I stated as a fact that I can back up - that it's teams with the largest salaries than win trophies, not teams that spend the most - so why were you asking me to explain about Spurs?

I used words like 'success' and 'win'.

When do you go back to school?

This summarises it quite nicely - decent bit about Benitez as well doing better than he should with the wage bill he had.

Should be able to do it again, surely.

Nah.

He's is doing better than he should, their wage bill is peanuts, relatively

What on earth are you on about?

If you'd read the article you'd see it was about RBs time at Liverpool.

I'm on about you saying he should be able to do it again you sausage, I said he already is doing better than he should.
