Certain when it was touted he was first unhappy there was a peice in the torygrapgh stating this

I've tried googling it but found nowt yet

Probably a load of rubbish, don't think any sane person would sign a contract with those sort of terms. Effectively saying you're out of pocket no matter what we do to you

Why would he leave them? Does he still have enough of a reputation big enough to get a club in European competition? I think one of the reasons he stayed there was because his family still live in England.

He'd be daft to quit imo.

He wants out cause Ashley not stumping up the cash
He'd walk into any job in Spain barring the obvious 3
& most in Europe if he became available

Washing his hands of any responsibility or blame already.

'The reality is that the best managers in the Premier League have been there a while and they have been able to spend some money on top-class players, so they have a better squad than we have.

‘So you can be a good manager but lose games because your team is not good enough.’

'Rafa' has called them shit.:lol:

More of a fanny pad really.
No, they are useful to the fairer sex, this clownshoe obvly would not be.

To be honest, at the start of the summer things looked better than they do now.
I'd be surprised if Benitez is still our manager at Christmas. Certainly don't expect him to last the season. The board seem to be intent on doing it a different way to the manager, as usual, and I don't think it'll last.
The ones who were happy to work under this administration are the chancers like Pardew, McClaren, Carver and Kinnear. Expect some other useless appointment following the departure of Benitez. Pardew and McClaren have both spoken about the difficult conditions to work under once they've left. Benitez is trying to use the media to turn it to his advantage but the egos of Ashley and Charnley don't take kindly to that, so before long something will give, and Benitez is likely to leave.
Cudnt give a shiny one if he stays or goes.
You will struggle anyway and the under estimation of the supposed poorer sides by your fellow delusionals is great.
Prepare for a few shocks, esp in those "winnable" first 6 games.

Feels like it's only a matter of time, next week, next month, next window, next year, year after, whatever. The ambitions of the boss far outweigh the ambitions of the owner, sooner or later it'll inevitably break and that will be that. Rafa wants Newcastle to be as good as it possibly could be, Ashley wants it to be just good enough.

The result is inevitable.

You say this stuff, but literally every manager at every club wants more to spend than the owners want to give them (perhaps apart from psg at the minute)
This is not a "Rafa" thing ffs

Seriously man, can we not leave Newcastle United alone for a bit until they genuinely fuck up.
Who the fuck are we to be laughing right now?

You're making a fair point mate ..... I don't really know why I, and others, find these threads so funny tbh.

I'd guess we all know it's slightly ridiculous to be poking the Mags with a stick but their reactions are inadvertently hilarious.

You can tell the really want to lash out but they know they're on thin ice with Benitez so daren't.

They're so desperate for Benitez to stay and love them ..... it's slightly tragic and I suppose that's what's funny.

The way they so obviously have their 'It's all that nasty Mr Ashley's fault' excuses ready adds to the humour.

Best to ignore this kind of thread mate, they're a bit daft but basically harmless ;)

Perez is f***ing garbage like. They have had a window as bad as ours them fuckers
Look at his record almost 29 and 53 league goals a journeyman in nothing leagues apart from 1 good season at Depor the only season he's ever hit double figures  I've seen Mags describe him as a top striker and will want to play at a good level to get in Spain's WC squad :lol::lol:

This 100%.
Open message board, see who we have sinned, and who the ITK say we are sinning, then see this thread still on the first page and open it to see what else has been said (often mags replying say why is this thread so long!).
As you say harmless fun and considering re have just been relegated and they have been promoted it gives us a chance to smile a little at their stupidity.
