On my calendar late June runs out later this week"Sanctions against Yorkshire, who admitted four amended charges, will be discussed at a hearing in late June."
We'll see what they get. My guess is just a points deduction across all 3 formats.

Of course they’ll keep test cricket. If they didn’t they’d go bust. You must be logged on to see media items

Its quite ironic that Yorkshire of all counties is in such a state financially, given the reputation of people here when it comes to moneyWith revenue from test cricket Yorkshire have still managed to acquire a £20m debt. 13_counties who don't have the advantage of test cricket can remain solvent with much smaller membership than Yorkshire. Retaining test cricket won't teach Yorkshire to be financially prudent.

But its Yorkshire, not little DurhamI was hoping some journos would deride the Yorkshire punishment in comparison to Durham's but I can't see anything.
A £500k fine, £350k of it suspended and the rest to pay in instalments. Possible point's deductions which make no difference to them at all.
At the very least they should have had heavy points deductions for 5 seasons preventing any chance of promotion or cup wins, removal of white ball internationals for 10 years, no ashes tests for the foreseeable future. They can still host other tests so they would still stay afloat. They should never have been allowed to get in this position of owing so much debt. That in itself is a punishable offence.

No but Durham fans have every right to feel pissed off over the uneven penalties between us and Yorkshire but it wasn't entirely unexpected. They havent killed anyone mate![]()
worse than that, it was entirely predictableNo but Durham fans have every right to feel pissed off over the uneven penalties between us and Yorkshire but it wasn't entirely unexpected.
