    what a waste of time

Its why north east and durham is vital for the ECB (showing what a disgrace those sanctions were)

We are pretty much the main county who consistently produces international cricketers from state schools, its remarkable

We should be one the ECB's priorities
I think most of the leagues across the North deserve credit for this. It’s the last vestige of cricket as a working class sport in the UK. Not just the leagues in the NE. The Lancashire, the East Lancs, the North Lancs and Cumberland that developed Ben Stokes, the NYSD, the Bradford, the Quaid-E-Azam, even those successors to the Yorkshire League. All playing proper cricket that for the most part doesn’t depend on what school you went to or what your accent is.

The tragedy of the Yorkshire racism scandal is their resultant failure to mine the vast pool of talent they have in the way Durham do because so many of their working class have brown skin. The best solution for English cricket is to get the structures in place so that they do. It’s hard to be magnanimous on this given the way Durham was shafted and the role Graves had in that, but that’s where we want to end up.

"Sanctions against Yorkshire, who admitted four amended charges, will be discussed at a hearing in late June."

We'll see what they get. My guess is just a points deduction across all 3 formats.

Are these for speeding offences? Better than points I suppose.

Totally agree with Graves"Martin Moxon hasn't a racist bone in his body" as I' m sure Durham members who knew him will concur. It was Moxon who brought the legend Ottis to Durham and brought Rafiq back to Yorkshire.

Thing is, Graves is a prick right, and he is clumsy here, but there is a lot of grey areas with this whole story that are now just accepted as fact.

a lot of people have had their careers ruined based on very little, we still not have seen the original independent investigation.

more of this reaction stuff game from his MPs committee hearing, which was utter bollocks IMO

anyway wil leave it there

Moxton is a good bloke like, tried his best to help Rafiq in his career, this is the thanks he gets.
