He has made mistakes but I think he is here for the right reasons and has done enough to have some goodwill from the fans.
He is here to make money. That is his reason. Why did they not buy Oxford? Bearing in mind that's who they support.

ah so he isnt selling now? thats funny-everyone here said he was...though how thefuck a profit of less than £10m was doubling the wealth of a many worth much more than £50m i dont know..
Have you seen the money the championship generates compared to league 1?

Cmon man, you comparing SAFC to f***ing Wigan or Rotherham?
no im not-you are. they were championship clubs last season-your only vcriteria for worth more was championship vs league one-Im the one syaing safc doesnt compare with them at all-regardless of what league we are in..

Methven just said 100 points is the target but they were very hopeful of reducing the wage bill (or something very similar to that affect)
Be interesting to hear how they've come to a conclusion that 100 points is the target. Turn half of the draws we've had over the season into wins and we'd have hit that, so it's small margins, but if they're looking to reduce the wage bill as well you'd presume that covers shifting high earners like Cattermole and Oviedo. That's a reduction in the quality of the squad to throw in the mix too.

its not nnescessailty a reduction in quality-you could get three players for one of catts and still save money..

Getting rid of Oviedo would allow us to reduce the wage bill and bring in 5/6 decent players at this level tbf.

What’s the point in doing this now? It’s just going to be hollow platitudes.

Give it a week or two and then go on the podcast with some sort of coherent plan and an outline of the lessons learned from this season?
I agree in essence, though I guess his non stop interviews and twatterings all season mean any silence now would be interpreted negatively and he won't want to be accused of hidng.

Hopefully if he sells up we have someone in place who gives priority to getting the team right as opposed to someone looking to make money quickly.

They know that automatic promotion is a necessity next year. That will take at least 90 points most years. Going for 100 gives a margin of error. It's down to the playing side to deliver it.
